SHRI SHANTINATH-AKAMPAN-KAHAN DIGAMBER JAIN TRUST
AN INTRODUCTION
It is an acclaimed fact that Hastinapur, a mythological and historical city, is visited by thousands of Jain devotees daily. Further its bounty of natural resources and flora and fauna has always amazed the mind. With a view to benefit the masses with the Digamber Jain principles, propagated by Pujya Gurudev Shri Kanjiswami. The formation of Shri Shantinath-Akampan-Kahan Digamber Jain Trust was proclaimed on 1st September 2014 in a meeting held at Meerut. A piece of land of about 10 Acres (approximately 48000 Square yards) has already purchased for the construction of Teerthdham Chidayatan, where more than 02 lacs square feet construction is proposed. The piece of land is affluent with medicinal resources and luscious vegetation. Further a large canal with flowing water on one side, enhances its aesthetical values.
OBJECTIVES –
- To inculcate the values of proper moral conduct among the local people and to develop them socially and spiritually, bringing about virtuous and religious progress.
- To make Natural and Ayurvedic remedies available for physical well being.
- To make an educational institution which imparts moral and value based education, available for every strata and community
The trust plans to construct Shri Shantinath Chidesh Jinalaya, Shri Panch-Parmesthi Chidesh Jinalaya, Chidgaurav Chaturvinshati Jinendra Manstambh, Chidanand Swadhyaya Mandir, Chidvatsalya Pradarshani, Chaitanya Shiksha Mandir, Chidarogya Dham (an Ayurvedic, Naturopathy and Yoga Hospital) and many more. Chaitanya Shiksha Mandir will be an English Medium CBSE Jain Minority School, imparting education along with moral and spiritual values. Chidarogya Dham aims to utilize the abundant availability of energising herbal medicines and the clean natural environment for the benefit of the people at large.
